About Us
Therapy Works is an Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapy Organization based on the island of St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands and Tortola Brithsh Virgin Islands.

In the mid 1990's Dr. Jerry Smith, noticed that St. Thomas and the surrounding Virgin Islands had a growing need for physical therapy services and wellness education. With this charge he chartered a course which led to a Bachelors degree in Athletic training from Barry University and a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) attained at The University of St Augustine for Health Sciences. Post completion of his studies and training Dr. Jerry Richard Smith returned to St. Thomas to fill what had ballooned into a growing health concern in the territory. Up until recently there had been a void in quality outpatient orthopedic physical therapy services within the St Thomas-St John District of the U.S. Virgin Islands and Tortola, British Virgin Islands.

Therapy Works has become one of the leading providers of Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapy services rendered to persons diagnosed with varying Orthopedic Pathophysiology, both surgical and non-surgical in nature.

Therapy Works is fully licensed to provide services in the US Virgin Islands and maintains professional relationships with the University of the Virgin Islands Athletics Department, The Virgin Islands University Sports Federation, The Virgin Islands Boxing Federation, The Virgin Islands Basketball Federation, and The Virgin Islands Soccer Association. Currently located in Barbel Plaza, Therapy Works serves a broad spectrum of the community to include wide range of national, international, and varsity athletes.

Since its inception in September 2006, Therapy Works has kept a steady stride towards growth and continues to offer top notch physical therapy services to the people of the Virgin Islands
