Meet Our Founder
Jerry R. Smith, PT, DPT, AT
Born and raised in the Virgin Islands, Jerry discovered his passion for physical therapy during high school. He went on to earn a BS in Athletic Training at Barry University and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of St. Augustine.
In 2007, he opened Therapy Works on St. Thomas, which has since grown to multiple clinics across the islands. Beyond his private practice, Jerry serves as the Director of Sports Medicine for the USVI Olympic Committee and Medical Director for the Boxing and Track & Field Federations.
A proud Virgin Islander, Jerry enjoys boating, fishing, and spending time with his family and his dog, Milo.
Our Practice
Since 2006, Therapy Works has been helping Virgin Islanders move better and live stronger. With convenient clinics in St. Thomas, Tortola, and Virgin Gorda, we’ve treated more than 3,000 patients across the USVI and BVI. Our licensed clinicians provide compassionate, evidence-based care in central locations that make therapy accessible for the entire community.
